EMPOWER YOUTH TO CHANGE THE WORLD

GeoChallenge

The GeoChallenge is a project-based, multilevel competition from the National Geographic Society that challenges student groups in grades four through eight across the United States to develop creative solutions to today’s urgent environmental problems. Combining science, geography, and communication skills, GeoChallenge teams take action on the critical issues facing our planet, just like National Geographic Explorers.

Student Matinees

National Geographic Explorers, photographers, filmmakers, and scientists embody the importance of living curious, responsible, and empowered lives. We’re proud to introduce these inspiring role models through our student matinee programs. Matinee presentations are approximately one hour and include a short question-and-answer session with the speaker. They occur in venues throughout the U.S. and some international locations.
